In the silent corridors of memory, where echoes of lost laughter and faded smiles reside, there lies a room - barren yet brimming with the haunting dance of yesteryears. A woman, a solitary figure amidst the chaos of forgotten letters and abandoned words, is engulfed in an eternal moment of reflection.
The artwork was born from my journey into the abyss of forgotten connections. Each strand of forsaken correspondence on the floor is a testament to relationships that once breathed life but are now mere spectres in the annals of existence.
The woman, an embodiment of lingering attachment and unutterable loss, sits amidst this ocean of abandonment. She is both a guardian and prisoner; for every letter under her silent vigil is a chain binding her to the past - each word echoing promises made and broken, love found and lost.
