I was inspired by the silent yet powerful language of the ocean, a language that speaks to the soul and echoes the complex emotions we often keep buried deep within us. The artwork captures a moment where waves dance gracefully upon the shores - each wave telling a story of its journey across the vast ocean.

This creation is born from a place of introspection and reflection. It mirrors those quiet moments when we are alone with our thoughts, navigating through our inner seascape - calm yet tumultuous, silent yet loud, beautiful yet terrifying. The contrasting elements in this piece – light and shadow, calmness and turbulence – reflect life’s dichotomous nature.

I created this artwork to invite viewers into a space where they can confront their own oceans within; to explore those uncharted waters that hold their deepest fears, aspirations, regrets and joys. It’s an invitation to embrace every wave of emotion with grace and acceptance as each contributes to the magnificent dance of existence.
