The bridge represents the divide between the conscious and unconscious worlds, and the painting invites the viewer to step through the threshold and explore the hidden realms of their own psyche.
The bridge is suspended over a chasm of swirling mist, and its delicate structure seems to defy gravity. The viewer is drawn to the bridge, but they are also hesitant to cross it. The bridge represents the unknown, and the journey into the subconscious can be both exhilarating and terrifying.
