Samuel, I am very honored that you visit my work. This image is stunning, and for me very special. Lilacs are strong childhood memory of my mom, and we have a beautiful bush in the center of our garden in honor of her. The fragrance is like no other. One early spring, before the butterflies would come, it bloomed early, maybe late March, I held a bloom in my hand to lift it up to smell the fragrance more strongly and a yellow swallowtail lighted upon it right in front of my nose. It stayed for hours on this one bloom even though there were at least 5 others. No other butterflies came until June. I had to leave before it did. So, do you believe in signs? Not sure why I'm sharing, I guess your beautiful lilacs. Thank you.
